| Note.
Diaphragm valves do not have a constant CV factor since the diaphragm back
pressure varies with the force applied. To find the output pressure under
a given flow rate use the above chart. Example, if you have a flow rate
of 20 GPM at the inlet of the valve, follow the line until it intersects
the graph to determine the pressure loss (5 psi). Subtract this from the
inlet pressure and you will have the outlet pressure. |
